As part of our Nightlife Initiative, this event was the answer to a public outcry for a decent New Year’s Eve party in downtown Stamford, CT. The premise was simple – conceive, organize and execute a large-scale event with an open bar, buffet, djs and band- in a cool place. In choosing an environment that served as part of the experience and not just a place to spend an evening, The SCA Palace Theatre suited this event as the perfect venue.

The Palace Theatre, newly renovated, originally opened its doors in 1937 as a vaudeville house. Headliners such as Bill Cosby, Hall and Oates, Tony Bennett, and major Broadway musicals like 42nd Street and Rocky Horror Picture Show play to sold out houses. The Stamford Symphony and the Connecticut Grand Opera also call The Palace their home.

The Emperor’s Ball at the Palace was a unique one-of-a-kind New Year’s Eve.

Through a massive promotional blitz over the three months leading up to the event, we worked with multitude of people in many fashions, to build this experiential campaign. Through traditional and non-traditional means of promotion we spread the word, sold tickets and built an experience.

The Emperor’s Ball at the Palace ranked as #1 Google-search under: New Year’s Eve, CT. In partnership with Telecharge.com and NewYears.com websites and through a combination of integrated promotional efforts, we built the buzz. On the night of, we provided stretch SUV limo transportation, sponsored by River Bank Volkswagen, to and from the Marriott and Palace.

Complete with a band and the areas most talented djs, this event was the first of it’s kind in this venue. For the Palace Theatre, we helped put them on some maps they never knew. From across six states near and far, the Emperor’s finest came by limo and car. Some stayed a day and others stayed two. Drinking and partying, they rang in the year new.
